URI-UCONN Navy STEM Coalition Announces Spring Seminar Series
This weekly seminar will be held concurrently at both campuses on Wednesday nights from 5-6PM, starting January 26, 2022.
The Naval Science & Technology Seminar is a weekly seminar on naval-related topics for undergraduate and graduate engineering students at UConn and URI delivered by regional naval professionals.
These seminars inspire students by exposing them to real-world naval applications & strengthen students’ professional identification with naval-related careers, which is known to improve students’ persistence in STEM programs.
Speakers will present topics addressing current issues and technical challenges, promoting innovative thinking within the student body.
